I apologize for the long delayed response.
I do not have anything definitive on this. It seems that William Tarvin II (if that is even the correct name) either died of yellow fever in 1812, or died at Fort Mims in 1813, or that he and his wife died at Fort Mims in 1813.
As you mentioned you are working on a project on Fort Mims, I do definitely have another ancestor who was there. I am a descendant of Luvici Hathcock, who married Elijah Boone circa 1850. She made an application in 1906 in which she stated that she had relatives at Fort Mims. She was a descendant of James Marlow (or Marlowe) through Elizabeth Marlow. James Marlow died at Fort Mims. I am not sure if James was on the defending side or the attacking side.
