One of my mothers relativesmarried into the Steadham line in Alabama. I was researching the the Ft Mimms Massacrein Balwin Alabama in August 30, 1813, I found this source.
SOURCE: "The Muscogees or Creek Indians from 1519 to 1893," Dr. Marion Elisha
Tarvin; Henry H. McCawley Jr., Mobile, Al.
Elisha Tarvin (son of William and Mary Miller Tarvin) and Theresa
Tate Tarvin; they were married December 26, 1828. Elisha's sister, Elizabeth,
married James Earle (a Creek American, b. 1766). James and Elizabeth Earle were parents of Nancy (who married Edward Steadham [309]), and James Jr. (who married
Mary Jane Steadham
Hope this helps
