The 1850 Pike Co. Census is in error - it should read
"Thomas P."
On the 1860 Pike Co. Census, p. 347, you will find
"Tom Tarver, age 30". He also is listed on the 1870
Lincoln Co. Census, p. 11, as "T. B. Tarver,age 39",
and on the 1880 Amite Co. Census, p. 413A, as "Thos.
L. B. Tarver, age 50"; first appears on the 1850 Amite
Co. Census, p. 64B, as "Thos. B. Tarver, age 21".
He is Thomas Benjamin Tarver, and the one we have as
having served in the 7th.
