Would like to hear from any descendants from this family. We are trying to get further back. Rufus Miltiades Tarver born 1820 Al. married Frances Henderson in Newton Co, Ga.1840 then I find them in 1860 censes in Jackson Parish, La. I found three of their children in Bienville Parish.1. Rufus M. Tarver Jr. married Alice Louise Head, their children: Laura born 1884, Frank born 1886, Mary born 1889, James born 1891, Fannie born 1894, Clara born 1896. I belive Franks descendants live in Ruston, La. 2. Mary Tarver married Robert B. Howell, they had one child Robert Jr.born 1872. 3. Clara Tarver married Richard F. Harrell. My husband is descendant from Richard Harrell and Clara Tarver. Hope someone can help. Thank you.
