I research the John Tarry from Great Creaton, married first Elizabeth Brown and second Sarah ----. I've just discovered that he arrived in America 16 September 1845 with Sarah, 52, Ellen, 20 (daughter with his first wife Elizabeth), Sarah, 10 (daughter with his second wife Sarah), and Stephen/Steven 15.
I now believe that Stephen is John's son with wife Elizabeth, but I haven't been able to find Stephen anytime after 1845. Does anyone know anything about this Stephen? Did he die before 1850? He was born about 1830 (11 on the 1841 census, 15 on the ship's manifest).
