Hi -- AM also trying to track down this line. I show:
William Pendleton md Sarah _____. They had a son, William Tarpley, b 1785/7 in NC or VA, and d 8-3-1857 in KY. He md 2-16-1808 in KY to Sarah Pendleton (b 223-2787 VA/NC; d 8-3-1855 in KY). Their dau Mary Agnes Tarpley was b 6-8-1821 in KY and d -23-1899 in KY; she md Nelson Hough (my great great grandfather), b 1819, d 1881.
Do not have any further info on either the Tarpley or Pendleton lines going back, and welcome any information you might have!
