Newton Tarpley's family from Sweet Home, AR are buried in Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery. In reply to your request I share the following information.
A B (Abram) and Jane (Allen) Tarpley moved to Sweet Home about 1870 with their sons: William Allen and wife, Elizabeth Frances (Wilson) Tarpley with 3 month old daughter, Sarah Robenia Catherine (Kate), (who lived to be over 100 years of age), and Cora E. who died in 1870; George M. and wife, Emily; Newton; and Abraham Granderson.
Other children stayed in Caswell County, NC from where they moved.
Newton married Lavina Smith. Thomas A. is their son. He married Sarah Dreher and had a chid who died about birth.
Abraham G. married Laura Allen Scott in Hot Springs, AR (Laura was born in TX). They had 7 children and Laura died. Granderson married Hollon Dora Yates in 1893 and they had 4 children.
This is my line and I visited this same cemetery about 5 years ago. I hope this clears up some of your questions
