I am looking for information on this Tarpey family, whose daughter, Catherine Tarpey Brennan, was my ggrandmother. According to information I have, they lived in the Charlestown area of County Mayo. Besides Catherine, their other children included a William of Laragh and a sister whose name I do not have of Cloonfane in Carracastle. Kate Tarpey (my ggrandmother) married Michael Brennan in 1892 and lived rest of her life Broher, County Sligo. She died in 1947 at Carrownaden, Co. Sligo, of heart failure. She was 76. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is a part of this family or who knows anything about them. Thanks.
