Tarkington Laden Fanning in North Carolina

I am looking for information concerning Bathseba Tarkington/Lyden who married John Fanning in PErquimanns Co. NC. in 1778. She also appears with him in a will: Abstract of Wills, Perquimans Co. N.C. Holloway, Uperasha, Nov. 2, 1796, Nov. Court. 1796. Cousin Bathsheba Tarkington and her children by John Fanning viz. John, Elizaabeth and Anna, brother John Holloway, son John, cousin Thomas Holloway's children. Tulle Layden and Thomas Holloway Exrs. Test. Isaac, Mullan, John Pool.

Any information is of use. My primary line of inquiry is Fannin/Fannings but they are an elusive bunch.
