Hello to Barbara and Dorothy. I saw your post and Dorothy's response. I have a Mildred Leak who married a Louis Tarkington. Louis was b. 14th of Jan., 1902 and d. June of 1965 in Tahelaquah, OK. There was also a Louis Tarkington b. 1888 who I wondered if he might be Louis Tarkington's father. Maybe, he's the one who moved from TX to OK that Dorothy mentioned. Maybe there's a clue for you in OK. Good luck.
