A cousin just recently got in touch with me. An old Bible was found in Van Buren County, Ar. It says that Sarah L.I. Tarkington, daughter of William W. and Ruth Brooks Tarkington married a Howard (first name not given) 29 May 1865. She died 13 Feb 1871.
