Hope this helps. There is a Tarbutton Family Cementary on Tarbutton Road in Springfield, Ohio. There is grave marker that identifies a Dawson Tarbutton, Captain Contintental Army. He died of "consumption" some time after the famed Valley Forge winter in his own bed in springfield. The marker is difficult to read. Perhaps there is an authority in Springfield that can hellp you find more. Good luck.
