Charles Tappy, whose brother was Simeon, was my grandfather. I never met him, he died when my father, Lewis, was 17. He died at home in a small town in Northern Indiana called Poneto. He was one of the founders of the town. So named after the remains of a Delaware Indian chief named Chief Pony Toe was found on the family farm. I don't know alot about the lineage, because most of the family is disconnected. My father had two brothers Carl and Garth. Both my dad and Carl are deceased. Garth may still be living in Central California.
