Hi Scott,
I dont know if you or anyone can help me. I questioned my Grandmother but she can only remember very few details but I know she would love to know the truth. My Great-Grandmother's name was Irene Tappin, Tappen, or Tappan. I dont know the spelling. She was married to a man named John Malone. They lived on Long Island and is said to be buried there. They had two children, Edward and Mary Eileen B) 4\15\1913 (my grandmother). Their parents ( I dont know whether it was Malone or Tappin) was said to have both died in a fire and were buried on Long Island also. I would welcome any help in finding out what really happened and if any relatives are still around.
Thanks, Rose
