Hi Brenda, I'm great. I just got back from a trip down east where I dropped in to Burton and Oromocto for a look at where the Tapleys came from. Really nice country! I just got info from Janice White about the will of Alexander Tapley. Here it is in case you haven't seen it. Cheers Alex Alexander Tapley (1740 Topsfield MA-1823 Burton NB) 1810 His wrote his will December, and it was proved November 1,1824. His will: Parish of Burton. Wife Susannah all estate while widow. Son-in-law Andrew Kinney my farming tools. Son Nathaniel Tapley all money due after my wife's decease. After wife's descease, Lot 10 in Burton and ½ of a Gore of Land granted to John Atherton and Abraham Deeyster in Burton and my lands on Oromocto Island to be divided among my heirs. Son Nathaniel Tapley and Richard Kimball, executors. Witnesses: John Hazen, John Dow, Charles Bowyer. Codicil, dated December 4, 1823. Charles Hazen of Burton should replace Nathaniel Tapley, WHO HAS LEFT THE PROVINCE, as one of the executors. Codicil not signed or witnessed. Administration granted to Nathaniel Tapley and Richard Kimball, the named executor Charles Hazen having declined. Notify Administrator about this message?
