Evidently Henry Tantlinger, Jr., b. 1781, and died in Ligonier, Pa. was married to Mary ------, they had children George, Mary, Henry, Alfred, and Alexander (1820-1910).
Please refer to the Drips Family Genealogy Forum at genealogy.com.On May 16, 2000 Rick Calvert made reference to a 1849 partion (Westmoreland County, Pa.?) that mentioned the heirs of Agnes and Thomas Drips.I believe he misread it when, among the heirs of Agnes Mary Drips Leacock, he listed Mary, wife of Henry "Faullinger."
The 1840 census of Ligonier Twp., Westmoreland shows this lineup of households in a row:
Thomas Drips [aged 80-90]
Henry Tantlinger [aged 30-40]
James Griffen [aged 20-30]
William Drips [aged 50-60]
John Ewing[aged 40-50]
Robert Mickey [aged 40-50]
It might be worth taking one more look at this 1849 partition of William Drips to ascertain whether Henry "Faullinger" is actually Henry Tantlinger.Records I've seen indicate the Henry Tantlinger of Westmoreland Co., Pa. b. ca. 1809 was married to Nancy Nicewonger. The 1850 census shows the eldest son in their family was William, b. ca. 1841, followed by James, ca. 1846.Maybe Henry Tantlinger was married twice -- first to Mary Leacock, then to Nancy Nicewonger.
Cheers!

P.S.I am seeking the identity of John Ewing's wife, Jane, b. ca. 1808 in Pennsylvania; she was living with her son, Noah M. Ewing, in Peoria, Illinois in the 1880 census when she stated both her parents were born in Ireland.A working theory is that she was related to the Thomas Drips family.
