I am Floyd Tanner. I am descended from Mathew Tanner (53) in your research.

I have a certified copy of his will in which he leaves a slave to his grandson Bird ( Byrd ) Lewis Tanner who is my GGGrandfather.

I have found information in “The Virginians “ that assume that Byrd’s father predeceased his father, Mathew (53, and therefore was not mentioned in Mathew's will. This research also assumes that Mathew’s (53) father was Lewis Tanner 3.

Your research contradicts this. I would like to determine which is correct.

My email address is I would like to communicate wtth you concerning this. I have done extensive research o Byrd’s descendants and would be willing to share it with others.
