I am trying to find out information regarding my Great Great Grandfather, Warren Lee Tanner, husband to Mary Maloney/Sherman. My Great Grandfather, Lawrence was born there. Mary was married to George Sherman prior to his death (Nora Belle Sherman married Charles Guthrie, who then had Woody Guthrie, et al).
I am trying to trace my Tanner line, but this is as far as I've gotten. Lawrence's other siblings include Lee and Warren.
Lawrence was born in 1903 and died in 1963.
Perhaps someone from the Sherman, Maloney, or Guthrie lines could shed some light. I tried contacting one person from Kansas representing the Sherman's, but her email is no longer valid.
