Thanks Betty. Yes, I have seen this Rowland and Nancy Jane
in Mississippi before. It would appear that there is another
set of Roland and nancy jane Tankersley's. A biography
of Sarah Tankersley Bachelor in Franklin Co., Arkansas states
that her parents were Roland Tankersley and nancy jane Davis. Sarah lists her birthplace as Tennessee and her brothers
list the same. She and her brothers lived in Hardin county Tennessee
in 1850. She claims South carolina as the birthplace of her
parents. Oh well,...the mystery continues.
