I found that my grandfather William Henry Tanger was born in Bremerhaven, Germany. The Maria I thought was his mother was a step-mother. They emmigrated from Hamburg in 1884 when William was 6 years old. I still have nothing on his siblings Louisa, Emil or Henry Max, or his parents. Any info greatly appreciated.
