The family line I am tracing we belive is as follows:
My Father is Jack Tangeman, born in Iowa 1926
My Grandfather is George Tangeman, born in Iowa 1900
My GGrandfather is George Frederick Tangeman, Born in Iowa 1860
My GGGrandfather is Andres Johann Tangeman, Born in Ohio 1833
My GGGGrandfather is Johann Grehardt Tangeman, Born in Holingen, Hanover, Germany 1796.
We believe that they came to the US in 1832 time frame.
Is your Anthony related to our Johann?? Do you have any information about why they came to the US and Ohio??
Do you know anything about the Tangeman Center at the University of Cincinnati??? We have been trying to get more information on the 'Tangeman' it is named after.
I would appreciate any information you are willing to share regarding the Tangeman line. I am willing to pay for copying and postage. I would like to get as much information as I can gather on the Tangeman Line.
FYI. Anne Tangeman is my sister.
