I'm not sure we have a connection, but my gggrandfather was married in the Cincinnati, OH area prior to 1849 when he was in Clay County, IA. His name was John G. (probably Johann G. Tangemann) and his wife's name was Anna Maria 'Mary' Knullenberg or Knullenbach. His father's name was Gerhart and his mother was Marguerite.
