Though I don't have this particular Tandy in my tree, I know it is my Tandy line. I have many Tandys in Carroll Co., KY.; the early ones came originally from VA., plus I have Blanton Tandys and Willis Tandys. I am sure we could connect if you can discover the name of his grandfather.
Elizabeth, descendant of Sallie Tandy Hanks, b. 1791, lived and died in Carroll Co.
