Ya'll come! For more than 50 years Tandy descendants have been gathering the second Sun. in Aug. in W. Cen. IL. for a potluck at noon. They will be meeting at Argyle State Park in Colchester, IL. (about 75 miles S.W. of Peoria), a lovely park with a lake and camping facilities, 12 miles from Macomb, IL.
Primarily these are the descendants of Jeptha Madison Tandy, b. ca. 1820 in Carroll Co., KY., son of Wm. B. Tandy and Nancy Partlow, grandson of John and Judith Martin. He died in McDonough Co., IL.

a descendant of Sallie Tandy, b. 1791 in KY., , d. 1862 in Carroll Co., KY. Mar. Capt. Thomas Hanks of VA. and Carroll Co. (uncle of Nancy Hanks and son and grandson of Rev. War.patriots)
