Dear All,
I am interested in finding out about the Tandy family/ies from Deal and Dover in Kent.
Details I have so far are:
At the parish church of St Mary, Dover, Charles Neam Roberts, aged 23, a stoker in the Royal Navyliving at 182 Chandon(?) Place, whose father was also Charles Neam Roberts, a labourer, married Alice Kate Tandy, aged 20, who lived at the same address. Her father was Walter Tandy (deceased) who was a stoker.
The witnesses were Edward William Tanner(?) or Tarver(?) and Jane Tanner(?) or Tarver(?), and the wedding took place on 06/01/1898.
Does anyone here have a link to Alice and her father Walter? If so, I would love to hear more on the history of this family.
