Tampkes--TX State Archives

I've just returned from TX State Archives. Found CW records for Adolph, Ludolph, and Albert Tampke. These guys served in the TX Home Guard, in the vicinity of San Antonio.

Found naught for their brother August, but not surprised, as August was a Methodist preacher. Probably preferred the word of God over the word of a Winchester.

Hixup, wife of a Tampke, aka Carl Hix :)
