Tamblyn - English (chiefly Devon and Cornwall): from the Middle English given name Tamlin, a double diminutive, with the Anglo-Norman-French suffixes -el and -in, of Tam/Tom, itself a short form of Thomas.Variants: Tamblin(g), Tamplin, Tamlin, Tamlyn,, Tomlin
Hope this helps
Gwenda
