Hello. I continue to look for the name of the husband of Mrs. Helen G. (LEWIS) TALMADGE. She was born in 1896 in Stoneham, MA, so her husband was probably born in the 1880's or 1890's. They probably married in Stoneham around 1920. They seem to have lived in Lynn, MA, before they moved to Gardena, CA, during the 1920's. (They had about 6 children in Gardena, and she lived to 1980.)
I was just looking for Census information and I found a Freeman TALMADGE, 51, living in Methuen, MA, in 1910. He had a wife, and adult daughter, 28, and an adult son, 29, living with him. They were all born in NY. The son's wife was born in Canada, and their 2 babies were born in MA.
I'm curious whether Helen's husband was somehow related to Freeman.
I just found out there are other spellings of TALMADGE, like TALLMADGE, so I'll try that spelling in census information.
