Talmadge is English. From what I can determine we all decend from Thomas Talmadge Sr, who came to the country in the early 1630,s. He was from Newton Stacy , Hants England, landed in Charlestown Mass, and moved to Easthampton in Long Island. The name Tallmadge comes from Toelmag or Tollemache, Roberti de Toelmage is found in the Domesday Book as being from Suffolk in 1068. Weve been around a while. Hope the info helps, tom
