I am related to Tally's that moved from Forsythe County, NC to Clark County, IL. URIAH Tally appears in the 1850 Forsythe County, NC census. He lists wife Sarah, dau. Julian A.; Luzina E.; and sons Lee H.; Obadiah M. and Jesse H. Uriah and Obadiah are buried in Clark County, IL. Obadiah died at approx. 15 years of age.
If anyone has any information on any of these names, I would greatly appreciate it! URIAH was born January 16, 1809, I'm not sure where though. His son Lee H. (Lee Hiram)is my g-g-grandfather. I have copies of marriage licenes for Lee H. (Lee Hiram) and his brother Jesse H. in Clark County, IL.
