I found Victoria A Tallman in the 1930 Census residing with the Clarence Lansverk family as a boarder, born in New York State, age 68. 1910, then 1920, census shows her in Ashland then Salem Oregon with husband Samuel B.
My Mother often spoke of "Kiddo", she was more than a boarder to the extended family. But how is it that she came to live with the Landsverks?
Anyone know the why?
