I am searching for living relatives/descendants of the subject line; Chauncey C. Thalman was in WWI, was killed and is buried in Flanders Field, Belgium. A Book is being written to honor our men buried there from WWI. Chauncey had brothers John Robert and Will Edward. In 1930, census, Will was in Kansas and John Robert was in Colorado, both with children. Any/all help will be appreciated. We are seeking info/pictures/relatives, all of which will appear in this book. The parents of these men were Henry and Tara Thalman. Chauncey was born in Rosalia, KS, but the family moved to CA.
There was a posting in 2001 regarding this family, stating that they were grandsons of a John P. Rannel who died in Ohio, Defiance County, and were named in his will. I tried to contact the person who posted, but the email bounced back. Please help us find this Soldier's relatives for this book.
