Jacklene, I have been researching the Tallant family for a few years now trying to connect them to the Castleberry family. I have always felt that they were related as my 3rd great grandfather married Margaret Tallant, I am told. Mark and Odian Castleberry lived very close to them in Pendleton County, So.Carolina. In fact Mark lived on land belonging to John Tallant, father of David Tallant. Would like to compare info with you on this family.
