I am in possession of a picture/postacrd of Lucille Catherine (Short) Tallant with four of her grandchildren, Lucille Catherine Hutson, Riley Hutson, Everett Hutson and Beade Hutson. The back of the picture/postcard has the names J.H. and L.C. Tallant written on it. Lucy Catherine (Short) Tallant is my mother’s great-grandmother. I believe she may have also married a Duncan. If you can share any information at all about John Henry Tallant and his wife, Lucy Catherine Short, I will be more than happy to send you a digital copy of this photo as well as the scanned image in an email.
p.s. My mother was born in SE Oklahoma but grew up in Princeton, Texas before coming to California in her teens.
