Hi Shirley,
Thanks for responding and for the information. I knew of the Coopersmith and Nace connection to the Talls, but I can't connect my family. I am quite sure that Cornelius Tall is the son of Mary and William, but I haven't found any proof of it. I keep taking notes in hopes that it will all come together.

I made a chart of the Tall men that were in that area and believe that they were brothers, sons of Wm. and Mary. They are John, George, James, Cornelius, and probably William. Also two sisters.

I have had a researcher from the Baltzer Meyer Historical Society help and she found Cornelius' wife's last name and their marriage date, but nothing else on the Talls. The marriage info is from a collection of newspaper accounts and shows the same date, 2-11-1842, for James Tall and Sarah McHenry. I don't know if this is the marriage date or the date they applied for the license.

Thanks again and good luck. Let me know if you want the information in my collection.
