You might already know this. Most of these families are connected to Actress Mary Tyler Moore who's grandfather Dr Benjamin Moore let General Thomas Stonewall Jackson use his house in Winchester VA. It's a museum today on Braddock Ave in Winchester. General Patton's grandfather, also a General during the Civil War, was killed by an air burst just down the street. Mary Tyler Moores parents, who I understand were Catholics, were from Berryville VA.
