Message to Beverly Ballentine.
I refer to my earlier message regarding Marta Taliaferro/Sherwood James Jr. I have since learned from Taliaferro Times that Martha Taliaferro died single, so she did clearly not marry Sherwood James Jr. So for me it is back to the drawing board to find the Martha that married Sherwood James Jr.
Taliaferi Times also reveals that Sherwood James Sr. Had a small piece of land at "The Mount". so the James lived
very close by.
May I bother you with another question, drwaing on you local knowledge of Caroline Co., Would you be able to pinpoint the location of "Blenheim" residence of Robert Taliaferro/Jane Bankhead.
I gather that it was located on Mattapony in 1752 and in Saint Margaret's Parish, Is it still standing?
