The July 2008 issue of ANTIQUES magazine on p. 37 has an ad picturing a portrait of William Booth Taliaferro (1822-1898) probably of Virginia c. 1845-50 in a military uniform. I am scanning this portrait in case any of the Taliaferro descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the Taliaferro family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family. It may not have a lot of genealogical value, but it certainly does have a whole lot of family and artistic value. I am not of the family and can supply no other information about it or about William. My email address can be found by clicking on my underlined name above. Please reply to me at my email address rather than leave a message on this Genforum site, which I might not see. If it were a portrait of a Pease family military man, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me. Bill Pease, Lancaster, PA Notify Administrator about this message?
