I am researching Talbots who emigrated to Canada in 1832 from Kerry, Ireland. They are variously reported to have lived at Annagh, Killarney, Ratass and Tralee. I do know that Richard Talbot b. abt 1770 married Anne Oliver, b. abt 1770, a native of Kerry. There are some letters in the family that tell of a house overlooking the lake (at Killarney?). I have no verification of any of these places as Talbot homesteads. Richard and Anne and their sons Thomas, Henry, John and James emigrated to Eramosa, Ontario. They reportedly left a son, Richard, behind on a leasehold in Kerry. I do not think that Richard ever emigrated.

There are also Talbots being researched by Michael James Talbot in England. His family is from Aghadoe, Kerry. His ancestor, John and our Richard may have been related.
