I have been looking for over 30 years for Charles Talbert and Charles Talbert - may be spelled Talbourt or Talbort. Charles was born 1882-1884 in Salt Lake and moved to Wheeling, WV (northern panhandle) around 1887-1890. He was killed while fighting a fire at the high school in 1914. He had 2 sons - one of whom was my husbands father. I have not been able to find any documentation for his birth or anything about his parents.
His father, also named Charles, was said to have died around 1886-1880 in Utah. His wife;s name was Elizabeth Warren. Since Elizabeth and their 4-5 children went to WV after Charles died, I think maybe he, she, or they were from that area originally. Would appreciate any light that someone could shed on this "brick wall". I have a lot of miscellaneous information I would be willing to share if it could be of help to someone. Thanks, Vicki
P.S. (One of these Charles's was said to have the middle name of Clarence.)
