There is a James Anderson Talbert, born April 4, 1814, in Edgefield, SC. He had a brother, Joseph Lee Talbert, born March 19, 1827, in Edgefield. They were the sons of Ansel Talbert, Sr., born 1770, in NC. They are siblings of General Ezra Graves Talbert, Sr., who is my gggrandfather.
Since the dates and names don't exactly match, these people might not be who you are looking for. Do you know where they lived?
Ezra moved to Marengo County, Alabama. (The next generation moved back to SC.) Maybe one or more of his siblings followed.
