I just recently learned that my great-grandmother's name was Teresa Tallerico. The spelling varies on different documents. According to her Declaration of Intention, she was born in 1871 and is said to have arrived in New York in 1899. She lists her place of birth as Petronia (not sure of the spelling.) She resided in the Brooklyn, Mt. Vernon areas of New York until approximately 1918 and then moved to Wilmington, Delaware. She was married to my great-grandfather, Francesco Lucia but I am not sure for how long. I know that in 1900 when my grandmother, Rose, was born he was listed on the birth certificate. I am searching for any information about her parents or siblings. Thanks!
