I have been following every different spelling of my father's family. On his papers his name was spelled "Talandwcic" & he arrived in NY in 1911. His brother arrived in 1914 and his name was spelled "Talandzewic". Needless to say, our family name was derived from these two spellings. My grandfather left his wife & 3 sons when they were yound & came to America. My father met him in this country once and that was it! I just wondered if these names were connected w/"Talanda".
