I wish to update on my genealogy findings. I have long discovered that I don't belong to the line of Huang Fudan. It was actually a misunderstanding of the genealogy text as Old Chinese did not have any comas and fullstops. The The "Huang Clan Genealogy of Yunxiao, Fujian" actually recorded that "he (Huang Fudan) moved to Zhangpu and his descendants later moved to Gaokeng, Zhao'an and Jiaotou in Dongshan (county), Fujian." The Gaokeng mentioned here is not the Gaokeng in Zhao'an! A Ming dynasty version (1565) of the ' Huang Genealogy of Gaoshan, Zhangpu' clearly recorded the founder ancestor of my village, Huang Tianhai) in Gaokeng, Zhao'an, by name and recorded that he moved to Dongshan, Fujian and his descendants moved to Gaokeng of Zhao'an. His ancestry is now clear. He was the 18th generation descendant of Huang Qiaoshan (AD 872~953) and the 134th generation descendant of the Huang Clan. I am the 34rd generation descendant of Huang Qiaoshan and the 150th generation descendant of the Huang Clan. I have published my genealogy on http://www.geocities.com/bx_huang Come and have a look!
