I have spent several months trying to find the parents of Nancy Tait who Married Moses Brooks 7/14/1813 in TN Wilson co I think without looking for it. I was looking under Tate. I found in a book last night the marriage records with the spelling of Tait. Also found a Charity Tait who M. a Lasater in 1816. That might help someone else.
Found a Nancy Tate who m. a Sparks 2/26/1839. My Nancy married a Brooks.
