I have traced this family to 1901 when parents and #these# children ,at the time, were living at
42, Inville Street, Walworth,London
Lavinia CHEESE nee TAIT (b) 1845 was the only daughter of George TAIT (1807-1845)and Mary Ann Staples TAIT nee JAMES(abt 1811-abt 1875). Her mother remarried John Blewitt GRIFFIN in 1847. They lived in Southwark area of London.
Lavinia was the sister of my grandfather George John TAIT (b) 1841 and I am seeking descendants of this family in the hope that we can share information.
