I read your post and I wish I could help you more but I was intrigued by how little information about ours families that truly is known. Your Grandfather, Peter Caulder Emblau is also my grandfather but from other children he had with his second wife, Gergina Fair Wilson. My grandmother (deceased) spoke of Mary every so often. Frances the adopted sister was not really adopted out, Grandpa left her with the Gilroys. She is Frances Gilroy and she is alive and lives in Calgary. My father has seen her a few times but of course she has no contact with us. I know of all the sisters you speak of. I have met them all at different points.
