My gr-grandfather, Edward Tague (later changed to Montague), was born in County Tyrone, Ireland circa 1848, the son of Margaret Cassidy & John TAGUE. He emigrated to RI in 1865, was married on 9/17/1873, and was naturalized circa 1874. Edward died on October 6, 1928, in Providence, RI, where he lived on Pettis Street in Providence with his wife, Isabella McElroy and their seven children. Only one of his three sons lived past childhood, and the survivor died at age 23. The girls, Louisa, Margaret, Bessie and Mary lived to grow old, but only Bessie had children. There were many relaives who lived in fairly close proximity. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Edward's brothers or sisters, but would certainly like to. Does any of this relate to your Tagues?
