Oh my gosh! How did you get that Moses Jr. wrote the obit? I have not seen the whole thing, somebody who got it off a pay site sent me the first page, and I would LIKE to see all of it, maybe you could put it on here. All these genforum people who email 'privately' make me gnash my teeth, because 10 years later they are both usually gone, and nobody will ever know if they had some valuable info! Well, when I did the Taggart research some years ago, I found mostly early records for Moses Sr, and he is pretty interesting. The obit had info that did not appear elsewhere. He is also mentioned on a number of pages in a book of early Abbeville history, I paid a pretty penny for copies of his pages, but, alas, I no longer have them. Also, if you do have the whole obit, I HOPE there is a newspaper date somewhere, I sure didn't see one on the first page? I don't have my notes here right now, but I think Moses Jr's death date is in three places, Moses Sr. Bible, cemetery tombstone, and the will abstract book. If you want, I will check my notes on the Abbeville history book, and send you the basics (but NOT 'privately'!!)
