Hi Mary,I realise your message is very old but hope this still helps you as the John Taggart you are refering to is my Great Granda...John was married to Sarah Aiken [daughter of James Aiken and Mary Dempsey] on 10 Sept 1892 @ Glenarm 2 of his daughters were born there Elizabeth [7Oct1893],Margaret[1Jan1859],John and Sarah then moved toNew Monklands Lanarkshire where daughters Agnes was born 3March1897 Annie 10July1899 my granda James was then born in Glasgow 12June1902 followed by another 2 daughters Mary 17Nov1905 and Rachel 23March1908.My Great Granny Sarah died 31 March 1908 8days after giving birth to Rachel John remarried Annie Smith 11 June 1908 John died 2Feb 1931.
I realise your message was old and you may already have this info but could you please get back to me and tell me where you fit onto our family tree.
Do you know also that my Great Grandfather John was born 2April 1871 Broughshane Co Antrim to James Taggart [my GT GT Grandfather] and Elizabeth Hunter [my GT GT Grandmother]. I look forward to hearing from you and i'm glad i checked out this site and came across your message.
